All Are Welcome to Sea Notes at the Marina This Summer!

Our jazz combo musicians will be performing this summer at the Sea Notes at the Marina music series. The community is welcome to this free event. Raising $1.5 million by May 30 Save The Arts campaign in full swing!

The Foundation for Edmonds School District is in full fundraising mode for saving 24/25 music and arts classes. To do so, $1.5 million must be raised by May 30, per the school district's request. Crazy, I know, but we can do it. Jazz 1 Wins Sweepstakes Award at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival

MTHS Jazz Ensemble 1 proudly displays the Sweepstakes Award. The Mountlake Terrace High School (MTHS) Jazz Ensemble 1 won the Sweepstakes award last Saturday, April 20, at the University of Idaho Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. They competed against 82 other high schools from Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Canada.  The jazz band performed earlier in the day where they were adjudicated on their 20 minute set. They performed “A Little Minor Booze”, “Trav'lin' Light”, “The Sunny Side of the Street”, and “Clap Hands, Here Comes Charlie!” After winning their division, the adjudicators selected the top two schools for the Sweepstakes...
