Our last big event of 2019, “Breakfast in Santa’s Workshop,” happens in just a few days on Saturday, December 14th—and we REALLY need your help! (Facebook event)
This musical morning features MTHS choirs, orchestras, and bands, as well as others from around Edmonds School District. About 1,000 people come through the door between 8 a.m. and noon to enjoy a pancake breakfast, pictures and visits with Santa, music, craft/goodies sales, kids’ craft area… it’s a busy morning—and a busy “day before” set-up process.
HERE’S HOW
- Volunteer! Your kids might be performing during the breakfast, so be sure to ask them. Many of them are also signing up to help on FRIDAY, when school lets out at 2pm and/or on SATURDAY. Please support them with transportation, extra food, and maybe even by coming to the HUB to help us set up and work the event!

CRITICAL NEEDS
Student Supervisors/Leads: Bands are primarily responsible for decorating the Santa area, Choir primarily for breakfast tables and Orchestra for the vendor areas. But we all help with other duties. It’s very helpful to have adults in charge of a few key areas, to make sure the kids are pitching in and working safely.
Photo Printers: We need more volunteers to help! Our guests LOVE to buy Santa photos—and we need to have helpers on hand to get the job done efficiently!
Ticket Sales, Photo Area Helpers, etc.: Seriously. Visit SignUpGenius. We need you.
Clean Up: Please consider helping between noon and 2 p.m.
