Join Santa for a hearty pancake breakfast at Mountlake Terrace High School Music Booster’s 16th Annual “Breakfast in Santa’s Workshop” on Saturday, December 9th, from 8 a.m. – Noon. Over a dozen local school choirs, bands, and orchestras—including Mountlake Terrace High’s—will sing and play throughout the morning. Shop for gifts, crafts, and goodies at our holiday gift shop; treat your kids to face painting; and visit Santa Claus! The Ari Hoenig Trio will play at Mountlake Terrace High School after a clinic with the  students. The trio will play a set and also play with members of the Jazz Ensembles in the MTHS theater at 7 PM on Friday, November 17. Advance tickets are recommended and are available online at Brown Paper Bag. Prices  are $15 for adults, $7 for students, with special family pricing of $40 for 2 adults + 2 students. Saturday is the Jazz Symposium at MTHS and we need some more help for this one day event hosting many school bands in the area. All meetings start at 7 PM with doors opening at 6:30 on Thursday nights (except where noted). We try to keep it to an hour, but often special events or committees keep us humming until 8:30 PM.
