Musicians….we are hosting our first jazz #jam session of the school year this Saturday, September 14, at North City Bistro & Wine Shop.
All are welcome to bring your instruments (drums/bass/piano provided), join for a song or three, or just sit, relax, enjoy the food, and support the musicians.
Experienced? Join us. Want to improve your improvisation? Never tried to perform in a jazz combo? Bring your instrument & music stand and join for a song, two or more!

Showing up for a jam session is a perfect way to see what jazz combos are all about. You see how the students lead the sessions, start to hear the songs, and see if this looks interesting.
For those that want to join our jazz combos formally, I will hold a formal meeting at our Band Retreat in November to share more about our jazz combos. I will share how to sign up and how I work with our musicians.
