Jazz 1 put on a show for the audience at 2025 Starbucks’ Hot Java Cool Jazz concert held at the Paramount Theatre! We’re very proud of their musicianship and representation of our area. The band performed Groovin’ Hard (Don Menza), Concerto for Cootie (Duke Ellington), Back to the Apple (Frank Foster), and Kinda Dukish / Rockin’ In Rhythm (Duke Ellington). The crowd showed their appreciation with a standing ovation at the end!
Also demonstrating why the Puget Sound area is so rich with jazz, Garfield, Bothell, Mount Si, and Roosevelt high school jazz bands performed fantastic sets!
