It was a wonderful evening of music last week at the Edmonds School District SE Quad Band Concert! The evening concluded with the “Battle of the Hectuvera” performed by our 6th grade, middle school, and high school concert bands!
Eliminating all 6th grade band classes in the district is being considered by the Edmonds School District due to a budget shortfall. Complete the “Balancing Act” survey by March 12 and show your support for 6th grade band. Keeping 6th grade band is vital to maintaining middle and high school band programs. They already took away 5th grade band, despite overwhelming support for it, so while we can’t guarantee you’ll be heard, it’s important we all show up to voice our support! Take time today to complete the survey today.
