It was a great evening of music at the Edmonds School District SE Quad Orchestra Concert! The evening concluded with the “1812 Overture” performed by our 6th grade, middle school, and high school orchestras!
Eliminating all 6th grade orchestra classes in the district is being considered by the Edmonds School District due to a budget shortfall. Complete the “Balancing Act” survey by March 12 and show your support for 6th grade orchestra. Keeping 6th grade orchestra is vital to maintaining middle and high school orchestra programs. They already took away 5th grade orchestra (and band), despite overwhelming support for it, so while we can’t guarantee you’ll be heard, it’s important we all show up to voice our support!
